Modern, networked, tradition-conscious: Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) is the largest university in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. It can look back on a history of over 500 years and today has around 20,000 students.
MLU’s research focuses on materials and life sciences, enlightenment, social and cultural research. In addition, the university houses a large number of small disciplines under its roof, some of which are unique. MLU has excellent national and international networks and cooperates with numerous non-university research institutions, over 250 universities and industry.
